The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced the list of the Olympic team to prepare for the first qualifying round for the Olympics and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers to be held next month.
The entry for the Olympics was 23, but it consisted of 26 in consideration of variables such as injuries. The Olympic team, made up of players under the age of 22, will be convened in Changwon on the 28th and will train until September 3 before finalizing 23 players.
Among the list for this call, three foreign players, including Kwon Hyuk-kyu (Celtic), Lee Hyun-joo (Behenbisbaden), and Jeong 스포츠 무료중계 Sang-min (Minnesota), will join on the 4th of next month if they are included in the preliminary list.
Baek Jong-beom (FC Seoul), Kim Joo-chan (Suwon Samsung), and Um Ji-seong (Gwangju FC), who are active in the K-League, have recently been selected. In goalkeepers Kim Joon-hong (Gimcheon Sangmu), Bae Jun-ho (Daejeon Hana Citizen), and Park Chang-woo (Jeonbuk Hyundai) were also named.
The Paris Olympics Asian 1st qualifier and 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifier group B match will be held at the Changwon Football Center from the 6th to the 12th of next month. Korea faces Qatar on the 6th, Kyrgyzstan on the 9th, and Myanmar on the 12th.
A total of 16 teams will advance to the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup finals, including the top 4 teams in each 스포츠 무료중계 group and the top 4 teams among the 2nd place in each group of 11 qualifying rounds, and Qatar, the host country of the finals.
The 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup finals will be held in April next year as well as the final Asian qualifiers for the Paris Olympics. The top three teams in the tournament advance directly to the Olympic finals, and the fourth-place team will play off against fourth-place Africans to qualify for the Olympic finals.

Meanwhile, the Hangzhou Asian Games national team, led by coach Hwang Seon-hong, will also begin training in Changwon from September 4, with K-League players and possible overseas players participating. The Asian Games team will train until the 12th, move to Paju NFC on the 13th, train additionally until the 15th, and leave for China on the 16th.
